Mormon anarchism

Mormon anarchism is the type of Christian anarchism which draws on the Latter-day Saints' traditions to bring anarchist ideas to the world. Mormon anarchists normally do not criticise the hierarchy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or its institution, but they do challenge the idea that Mormons must be pro-capitalist or pro-war conservatives.
Van Wagenen writes "Every Mormon should look forward to the abolition of government, and the building of a socialist society based on free association and mutual cooperation."
