Mathematics ("math", or "maths" in England) is a big subject.

At its most basic, math is the study of relational logic. That is, mathematicians study logical relationships in the abstract. For this reason, mathematics are used by almost every other area of scientific or pseudo-scientific study to create models which are then related to the real world. In this way, math can be said to be the bridge between philosophical logic and real-world logic.
