Dramatic Hearts
Dramatic Hearts is a machima web series created by Luke Galli, of KH-Vids and Radical Saga, and Tom Seiniger. Released in the winter of 2005, the series has spanned three seasons and a total of 22 episodes so far. Episodes are released on a random schedule but the creators try to get atleast one out a week.
Plot Summary
Dramatic Hearts is the story of a young boy, named Luke, who sets off on a quest with his companions, Ronaldo and Poofy, in order to defeat the Jewish Bankers. Along the journey, they run into many vivid and wild characters, each with strange and colorful personalities. A deep and complex story stiched together with betrayal and war, all in the name for a channel devoted to yuri.
While the story's main focus is around Luke and his friends, the beginning of the series revolve around a younge boy who is also named Luke. He has entered into the Dildo Tournament with his friends Austin, Onit, and Tom. During the battles, he fights against a small boy named Siffer, who has the voice of a 30 year old. We soon find out that Luke was once in the Pimp-hood, a gang of Pimps that work together and have complete control of all pimping acts. Luke left, for unknown reasons, and his best friend (and co-pimp) Andy soon found him and tried to sway him back to the pimping side. After the introduction of Betty and the final battle between Andy and Luke, we soon find out the truth behind Luke's past and his real name, BHK.
BHK has a battle with DiZ and finds out that the real Luke is cast into a strange sleep, reasons unknown, and in return for being revived, BHK must give up his life. Being the noble boy that BHK is, he doesn't hesitate to make a choice. Luke is quickly revived, though does not know of BHK's sacrafice, and is happy to be reunited with his best friends Ronaldo and Poofy. After a short trip, our heroes arrive in Twilight Town.
Luke quickly runs into BHK's gang of friends (Austin, Onit, and Tom) and becomes rather good friends with them. After a quick meeting though, Luke and his friends quickly leave by train and arrive at Twilight Tower. They meet up with a large man, who is blocking their path and seems to have a sexual attraction to the door he is yelling at. Luke openly laughs at the man and scares him away. With the path to the Twilight Tower now clear, Luke and the gang quickly head inside and meet up with the man they were searching for, Father Porn. He also explains the creation of the Negro Slaves and the Jacksons and how they relate to the Jewish Bankers.
Characters
Luke
The hero of our story, Luke is a very light hearted and pure child. Before the events of Dramatic Hearts, Luke used to live on a series of islands in a small town of people. The most important person to him though, was Joanna, Luke's girlfriend. After his island was attacked by Negro Slaves, Luke fought against them and soon found out that he was a Dildo Master, one chosen to weild the Dildo Blade against the evil Negro Slaves. Luke's never been too fond of this title and often finds it to bring him nothing but trouble, but since he was separated from his loved ones during the attack, he vowed to get back to his island, no matter what the cost.
Since then, he has teamed up with Ronaldo and Poofy (a mage and a knight) who are looking for their King and who were also seeking the Dildo Master. They've worked together since then, trying to find those that were lost to them and to defeat evil together.
Betty
Not much is known of the beautiful and stunning Betty... but there is an urban legend, whispered from child to child that she lives in a mansion deep in the woods and is actually a Killer Catholic Zombie Book that killed Austin's mother.
Her connection to other characters is unknown but we do know that she was originally a book owned by Austin's mother. When Austin's mother grew interested in reading another book, Betty got jealous and killed her. After killing her, Betty placed the mother's skin onto herself like a book sock. While sick and demented, the true goals of Betty are unclear, but BHK soon reveals to her how deeply he was in love with her and how much it hurts him to see what she has become.
Andy
A strange man whose true intentions are still unknown. He used to be a co-worker with BHK, but after some tragic events BHK left his side. This hurt Andy and ever since he has tried to get BHK back into the pimping game.
Andy attacked BHK on many occasions, wanting to knock some sense back into his best friend and maybe even win him back. Andy does not like how DiZ has been messing with BHK's feelings and leading him onto believe that he has to sacrafice himself in order to revive Luke. Eventually Andy realizes that BHK knows full well of what he is doing and he let's BHK do as he wishes.
Joanna
A woman with a strong but unknown connection to Luke, she is the one that populates many of his shuffled dreams. Could she be someone from his past? Why does she call out to him? And what is up with her lust for organal carving?
We don't really know much about Joanna other then she has a lust for being with Luke. How long they've been together isn't very clear either, but it is hinted that Luke and Joanna have been apart for a long time. She has only appeared once so far in the series but it is believed that she will soon have a very important role in the story as it develops.
Ronaldo
A companion of Luke's who is a powerful mage, yet is too short to even see the subtitles, among other things. He has a short temper, and a love for good head, a combination that often leads him to rush into situations eagerly.
Poofy
Another companion of Luke's who is a big help in the first fight against the Jacksons and the Negro Slaves. Although in the past he had a tragic love affair with a Fire Hydrant, he went to rehab to cured it, and is back on his feet. Whenever Luke is down, Poofy can always lift his spirits by reminding him of "The White Man Marches On."
Dickey
A small King, who weilds a mysterious golden Dildo Blade. When we first meet him, he saves Luke from a group of Jacksons and gives Luke money, but he quickly runs off without saying a word. Although he wears the coat of a Jewish Banker, underneath he wears harmless short shorts. He knows much about the Jewish Bankers, as well the deep myseteries of Yuri. He seems to have some past with DiZ and Handsome, but further details are not known.
BHK
A young boy who believed himself to be Luke. He is caught up the sexual exploits of those around him, and although could easily get any girl he wants, he hungers only for Betty. BHK used to a Mega-Pimp alongside Andy, but left for an unknown reason. Soon after leaving the Pimp Society, he was captured by Handsome and DIZ, who were planning to use him in their plan to lauch "Dramatic Hearts." In the end, he fought against Andy, Michael Jackson, and DIZ. After the battles, he eventually found Luke and seemingly fused into him.
DiZ
Not much is known about the enigmatic DiZ, other than he has an immeasurable love for Yuri, and seeks to start the first all Yuri TV Network, Dramatic Hearts. He also has a strange passion for watching LOST.
Handsome
A very well, handsome ally of DiZ. He is both powerful and mysterious, helping DiZ destroy the Jewish Bankers so that Dramatic Hearts will hit the airwaves. So far the only real reason behind is co-operation with DiZ is the promise that he will gain recorded episodes of LOST for carrying out DiZ's orders.
Negro Slaves
Negro Slaves are born when a child grows up in the ghetto and the heart becomes corrupted. Although weaker than Jacksons, they are numerous, and the best imports are truly to be feared. The Negro Slaves can serve any master, however, they are also swayed by the girl-on-girl goodness of Yuri. The most numerous amount of Slaves belong to Malificent. Jacksons
When a Negro Slave develops a lust for children, it becomes a Jackson. White, strechy, genderless, and without a nose, Jacksons will hunt down the [male] children they hunger for. However, their weakness is women, even the mere smell of a vagina renders them weak. Because of the "dildo" Blade's immense vaginal aura, it is the only weapon that can truly destroy a Jackson.
Father Porn
A wise, old man whose love of shrooms is only exceeded by his vast knowledge. He knows much about the Negro Slaves, Jacksons, and Jewish Bankers, and also seems to know about the legendary Dildo Blade. Although helpful, he hungers for Luke's young mouth and a trip to the monkey exhibit. Before he mysteriously vanished, he revealed that he was nothing more than a hologram, and that Luke couldn't defeat the mighty Jewish Bankers. His true identity is that of Mansex, the strongest and most greedy of all Jewish bankers.
???
A "big b-word" who controls some of the best imported Negro Slaves, and is in love with a woman/door named Malificent. He claims to be powerful, though he's pretty much half-retarded.
Maleficent
Although we have yet to be formally introduced to her, Maleficent was originally seen in the form of a large door. She somehow has reappeared as a human, and judging by the fairies reactions, is someone to be feared. She also controls the largest amount of Negro Slaves, but she hungers for even more power.
Hardon
An ally of Luke's who resides in Pimp Society. He is anti-social, which leaves him very lonely. This loneliness has caused him to develop a love of child pornography, He loves his home of Pimp Society, and valiantly fights to protect it. He seems to know a lot about what conspiring with the Jewish Bankers and the Jacksons around Pimp Society.
Cloudy
A powerful warrior, who is standoff-ish and doesn't let Luke, or anyone get too close. Recently he has been hiding from Mary, because he's discovered that she is controlled by Sepiroth. To keep Mary at bay, he has told her that he has been turned astray by Satan. He is haunted by the mysterious and evil Sepiroth, but is unaware of Sepiorth wants with him.
Mary
A friend of Hardon's that has holy visions from God. According to Cloudy, she is being used as a puppet by Sepiroth.
Sqiunty
A friend of Hardon and Luke's. She offers Luke a 'good time' for very cheap prices, however, she always runs off whenever he's ready.
Austin
A friend of Luke's that wants to double penetrate Luke's mom, as well as become Dildo Battle Champion. He has a hatred for books and reading, ever since him mom was killed and skinned by the Catholic Zombie Book, Betty.
Tom
Luke's token fat friend. He is often made fun of for being fat and liking Fall Out Boy. Still, Onit agrees to anal sex with him every once in a while.
Onit
Luke's female friend who tosses salads and gives oral sex for free, but recieves money in some cases. She doesn't have much say in their group, because being the group's tart, she must only speak when spoken to.
Siffer
A 10 year old boy, with the voice of a 30 year old man. He thinks of himself as a badarse and great "didlo" Battler, but he's actually just a cocky fawg.
Vivi
A mysterious little boy who wears the sorting hat from Harry Potter. He is also an excellent Dildo Battler. Recently, he found out there is no Santa, this has crushed him inside, and sent him running through the streets, screaming.
Seltzer
A Shemale who is very full of him/herself, he/she was champion of the Dildo Battle, but was beaten by BHK this year.
Suvre
An old, bearded man who appears very breifly. He is known by all the residents of the Pimp Society to state utter lies as fact. Nothing else is known about him at this time.
More characters will be added as more episodes are released.
The Jewish Bankers
The very powerful Jewish Bankers, feared in all lands. They run the TV Networks with an iron fist and hunt down all that oppose their unwritten laws. They are currently on the hunt of two Yuri-Loving Network pirates known as DiZ and Handsome. The Bankers have been at an everlasting war with the Pimp Society, also known as the Pimp-hood. The Bankers use the Jacksons to do their dirty work.
Currently every member of the Jewish Bankers are known. In order of power they are Mansex, Dike, RuPaul, Sir Frow, Bowie and Dennis. The only one to actually talk with Luke so far has been Dennis, who speaks in Elite and often confuses Luke. Dennis seems to hint towards the Bankers not all being evil and that the Bankers have different motives then himself. The meaning of his words are unclear, but it could mean that the Bankers might not be as evil as he has been told.
Mansex
The leader of the Jewish Bankers. Not much is known about him other than that. It is said that all his motives are fueled with greed.
Dike
Like the other members of the Jewish Bankers, not much is known about Dike. It is rumored that his powers are manipulated by the phases of the moon. If the moon should be in the right phase he could destroy a whole city.
RuPaul
The third in the rank of the Bankers. RuPaul is a gambler in all aspects of his life. Having grown tired of regular games, he began to focus on a new game, Yu-Gi-Oh! RuPaul became addicted to this game, and went so far as giving handjobs for rare cards. His obsession over the game drove him mad, turning his hair chalk white. To seduce more men into give him precious cards, he grew a beard and shaved it as lame as possible. RuPaul eventually arrived at the Mansex's knees and because of his talents, he was recruited into the Jewish Bankers. He has an "up and at 'em" attitude that spawns from his morning routine, which involves the ultimate gamble, Russian Roulette. He still uses his treasured Yu-Gi-Oh! cards as his weapon.
Sir Frow
The Jewish Banker of Beauty, Sir Frow came from a land obsessed with physical appearance, the Land of Metrosexuals. Since his birth, Frow never cut his hair and now has a high ponytail and dreads. He has plucked his eyebrows into a strange shape and grown very large, far too neat, sideburns. Frow calls himself 'Sir' Frow, because he believes himself to be so beautiful, that he is royalty. He fashioned his eyelash curlers, tweezers, and hairbrushes into six spears to be his weapons. Since Sir Frow is so handsome, wherever he goes, the trademark 'bishounen breeze' appears, blowing his hair and making him even more dashing. Sir Frow is now in search of a beautiful flower, as he needs an accessory as beautiful as he is.
Bowie
The strange and confusing Bowie. Bowie played Guitar, he played it left handed, playing for time and jiving us that we were voodoo. He may have taken it too far, but boy could he play guitar. Making love to his ego, Bowie's only interest was himself. He also fought against, and defeated, the notorious spiders from Mars, and this brought him to attention of the Jewish Bankers. The Bankers approached Bowie with an offer to join them, Bowie being a loaded, well hung and snow white tan man, agreed. Before Bowie would join though, he requested that his songs air on their networks and in return they would get all the money his music made. He faced Luke once before, and lost. However, he did manage to confuse the hell out of Luke.
Dennis
The lowest ranked Jewish Banker, Dennis was the first Jewish Banker to confront Luke at the Pimp Society. He speaks Elite, a ridiculously geeky pattern of speech which confuses his enemies. From his early childhood, Dennis practically lived on message board forums. As he grew up, he began to stop speaking normally, and only spoke Elite, feeling that only the truly advanced (nerds) knew this odd dialect. Since then Dennis has grown even more full of nerd rage and will destroy anyone who doesn't understand or speak Elite. He wears his hair in a lame 80's ponytail, and wears an eyepatch because of his pirate fetish.
The Creation
Dramatic Hearts isn't really filmed at all. The basic set up of the series is basically the cut scenes from Square-Enix's hit series Kingdom Hearts, more specifically Kingdom Hearts 2. The cut scenes are taken from the game, edited to make a different story, then resubtitled and sometimes even have music changed or edited, to bring another experience to the viewers. Because the series uses footage from Kingdom Hearts, those that have not played the games will be spoiled because, while the order of footage may not be the same, the same content is used through out the series.
The muse for the series itself has been mostly common misunderstandings of characters and funny inside jokes that eventually become something huge. Character names came from friends who reminded the creator of certain characters or just how characters reminded him of popular celebrities, like Demyx's resemblance to David Bowie.
Soon after the release of Dramatic Hearts, Luke teamed up with a fellow member of KHI Forums Tom (Croix) Seiniger, who was the muse for Cloudy. Soon after that the two worked together to mold and create Dramatic Hearts into what it is today.
The series gained most of it's popularity among the KHI forums where the original topic (before being released on it's own site) had boosted up past 10,000 views and over 1,000 comments, having dozens of members linking the site through signatures and qoutes and gaining over 300 fans through YouTube and eventually became posted on over 80 different Myspace Profiles (through comments, profiles and bulletins) and while far from being as popular as Red vs Blue the series became to blossum when the site was created and a general source of information was created for the series.
With that said not everyone has enjoyed Dramatic Hearts. Many have found it rather childish, immature and an insult to Kingdom Hearts 2. One viewer even stated that Dramatic Hearts was "Rubbish and of bad taste; a mix between Family Guy and pre-pubic humour of anything that relates to sex."
