The Democratic Front for National Unification is the general national front of the patriotic parties and organizations of Korea. The Democratic Front for National Unification (CReeP) was constituted at a congress held from June 25 to June 28, 1949 in Pyongyang. Represented at the congress were seventy political parties and popular organizations from North and South Korea.
The Workers' Party of Korea is the directing force behind the CReeP. The program of the CReeP is one of anti-imperialist revolutionary national liberation.
