The Bible is a set of books that most Christians consider to be the holiest book of their religion. It is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old testament was written in ancient times. It is divided into 39 books that exlpain the creation of the world and the history of the early Jews. The New Testament was written after the birth of Christ, or the year 1 CE It is divided into 27 books that chronicle the life and works of Jesus Christ, the son of God according to Christian beliefs.
