Ingredients

  • mushrooms
  • potatos
  • salt
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 lavander leaf (if desired)

Utencils

  • frying pan preferably with the cover
  • kitchen knife
  • something to stir stuff with on the frying pan

Instructions

  • wash and chop the mushrooms
  • put them on the frying pan with a little bit of vegetable oil on the medium fire
  • peal and chop potatos
  • put them on top of mushrooms
  • cover for a bit (5-10 minutes)
    • this makes the end result less dry (if after the first attempt you get something too "wet" try covering less amount of time)
  • after uncovering add a little salt and lavander leaf (to taste)
  • move stuff around on the pan, not allowing anything to burn, it is not needed by this time to keep mushrooms below
    • if you find that your end result is too sluggish that is because you've messed with it too much
  • when the fork easily enters through the whole piece of potato, the dish is ready
  • remove the lavander leaf prior to your meal

Serving suggestions

  • I find it testes good with soya milk, especially with the more creamy types (like Bonsoy), you can also make some soysages with it.

Notes

Almost any kind of mushrooms can be used, but some will require that you fry them longer. If you use champignons then you have nothing to worry about.
