Name[edit]

I have added "list of" since it is a list after all, anarchist websites should be an article about the anarchist websites in general if anything. Now, i do like the Wikipedian name of "... web resources" since there are things other then websites. For example, what of ftp sites? They don't really fit in list of anarchist media but can't be placed here either. I'm also looking for relevant podcasts (so far i know only of my own that talks about anarchist specifically), where do they go... i'd say for now they can be in both, but i'm open to suggestions (i don't want to link spam).  ~ User:Beta_M (VolodyA! V Anarhist) Talk

I think renaming to "... web resources" should be fine, this is a list of links to external urls after all..., where "list of anarchist media" mostly has links internal to Anarchopedia. Btw, this list uses Wikipedia's very vague definition of anarchism which includes anarcho-capitalism, a more appropriate name for the page as it is now could perhaps be "list of anti-authoritarian web resources". ~Rev 22 20:58, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
How about making "list of anti-state web resources" and "list of anarchist web resources" and link them to each other?  ~ User:Beta_M (VolodyA! V Anarhist) Talk
That's OK to me. Still, things like anarcha-feminism and black anarchism probably fall better under "anti-authoritarianism" (which also includes anti-state). ~Rev 22 21:47, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
And for the record, i believe that there are parts of anarcho-capitalism which are a part of anarchist movement. I came to my current beliefs through being an ancap, believe it or not.  ~ User:Beta_M (VolodyA! V Anarhist) Talk
I am a socialist but that is my opinion, too, actually; parts of anarcho-capitalism can overlap with anarcho-individualism. My understanding is that anarcho-capitalism as a whole cannot be considered anarchist because part of the movement thinks that the market and its rules are more important than society itself, i.e. "freedom of the market" and "individual freedom to accumulate capital" are more important than society and individual rights. ~Rev 22 21:47, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Deletion[edit]

Why was the Anarcho-Capitalism section deleted as 'obsolete'? I'm not going to defend Anarcho-Capitalism and while I understand there has been a serious shift where a large number of people who were formerly "Anarcho-Capitalist" have rejected the label in favour of market Anarchism and Agorism (and have so adopted new ideas which take them closer to individualist Anarchism rather than traditional Anarcho-Capitalism) I'm pretty sure there are still Anarcho-Capitalist's around. Perhaps a revision is in order rather than a deletion?--121.214.219.220 03:16, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Dead Links[edit]

There are a lot of dead links on this page. Needs checking and pruning. I'd do it, but I'm new here and don't want to be seen as mucking things up. Thanks!
