Humans are organisms of the Homo sapiens species.
Homo sapiens neaderthal was extincted by sapiens sapiens.
Other human species (now extinct):
Humans have a society and live on Earth. Hopefully in the future other planets and satellites will be inhabited too.

In Hinduism humans are beleived to have existed for about 158.7 trillion years since Brahma who is currently 158.7 trillion years created humas immediately after he was born. Brahma's lives for 311 trillion 40 billion years.
