Revision as of 04:34, 25 September 2012
Template:Infobox person On January 15, 2010, the Department of Defense complied with a court order and published a list of Captives held in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility that included the name Mullah Karim.[1][2][3]
There were 645 names on the list, which was dated September 22, 2009, and was heavily redacted.[1][2]
According to historian Andy Worthington, author of the The Guantanamo Files, he was captured on August 5, 2009.[3] Combined Joint Task Force 82 reported he "facilitated logistics and safe havens for Taliban commanders in Andar district, Ghazni province."[4] They reported "He is responsible for IED and direct attacks against Afghan and coalition forces."
