The Earth Liberation Front arose from the Earth First! organization in England. It is a loose 'organisation' of like-minded individuals with the common goal of saving the Planet from destruction. It's methodology is direct action. The membership of ELF is not controlled as with the political party, or a centralised organisation. Anybody can consider themselves a member if they actively seek to protect the Earth.
