[[Albereque Jericho Movement|Jericho]] is asking for help in raising funds for a lawyer for Oso Blanco, a Native American political prisoner being held and abused at Lewisburg federal prison.

He has been attacked by guards three times within the last few months and, after consulting with a lawyer, we decided we need to send a lawyer to visit him sooner rather than  later. It will cost about a thousand for the trip there and a day visit/retainer, as well as getting the necessary documents for the lawyer.

Byron Shane chubbuck grew up in New Mexico and Denver. He was an active anarchist from the age of 14. He is in prison currently in Beaumont Texas. He  robbed banks and gave the money to the Zapatista Indians and the poor people of his Barrio . he is serving 80 years for Prison Escape and Firearms violate. The cops shot to kill when he was unarmed. He has a strong support group but can always use more. He also has several web papes. He plays in a prison band, creates art, writes stories and poems, and is active in his native american practices.
