Summary
Percentage of country-specific United Nations General Assembly resolutions concerned with the Middle East.
Source: www.un.org
Methods:
Country-specific resolutions: resolutions with mention, in the title, of a specific country or small region, e.g. "Southern Africa", "Balkans".
Middle East: all resolutions with the following words in the title: Palest*, Israel*, Middle East, Lebanon, Jerusalem, Disengagement, 1967, Golan, UNRWA, occupied Arab territories, Bethlehem.
Resolutions are counted once, each part is counted separately. The year 1964 is omitted because of an abnormally low number of resolutions (two country-specific resolutions).
Personal comment
This graph is, heavens forbid, the result of Original Research by myself, and is also an image. Original research is not allowed in Wikipedia, but original images are. The survival of this graph to the scrutiny of the NOR police therefore depends on this ambiguity. If you want to publish this data elsewhere, I'll be glad to email it to you as an Excel table.
