This is a list of notable assassinations (WP) and where they were assassinated. This list does not include Wikipedia:executed persons.[1] It is arranged by location/region, and chronologically. This rarely includes the targeted killings (WP) used by the US, as there are minor differences and major propaganda campaigns standing in the way of their inclusion in the original list. Evidence that this exclusion is the result of a systemic bias is the inclusion of assassinations in Russia that could be excluded as politicides, which is a political means parallel to regime change.
