ScribbleSheet

ScribbleSheet was an online newspaper based in the United Kingdom with the tagline "The place to read and write original opinion". It was launched on September 25, 2007.

It was one of the first of its kind in the world to publish articles from its readers with little to no editing, in an open source style of news reporting. All of the site's content was written by its readers with no dedicated staff writers.[1] The majority of articles were written by freelance contributors, journalism students and ordinary citizens.

The contributions on ScribbleSheet focused on News, Politics, Society and Business. ScribbleSheet could be seen as an evolution from Oh My News and Newsvine however, the citizen journalism newspaper model has come under recent skepticism.[2]

ScribbleSheet was only published in English.
