You Are Not Alone (original title: Du er ikke alene) is a 1978 Danish movie about twelve-year-old Kim and fifteen-year-old Bo, who fall in love with each other and have to come to terms with their homosexual feelings. The movie also has several subplots about the other students of the boarding school in which they live, and a major conflict between the students and the headmaster of the school. This movie is unusually open-minded about the issue of homosexuality in young boys, and at the same time handles a delicate issue in a very sensitive and non-exploitive way.
