Lajos Kassák

Lajos Kassák (1887 March 21 in Érsekújvár, Hungary — 1967) was a poet, novelist, painter, essayist, editor, theoretician of the avant-garde and occasional translator, was the father of many modern isms. Kassák was among the first to be arrested after the collapse of the Hungarian Soviet Republic.
